If they want to buy something, they just search and order it online. So its online! online! all the time for many people. It is a form of targeted advertising, where you can reach targeted audience. Suppose if a person is looking for flights from italy to france. You can display an matching to his content, like you can show best deals from italy to france through your ad.

Examples of content ad networks are Google adwords, Publishers who are website owners use Google adsense for monetization of their website. And with Google adwords, you can target your audience on websites who uses adsense.


In the above, i was reading an article on muscle building and you can see there were ads displayed with muscle related ads. This is an example for contextual advertising.

In the above, i have searched for Toyota Prius and based on my search query, i was displayed with relevant ad as shown in the above.

 Many marketers do promote their products or services through email marketing. By sending promotional emails to their potential audience’s inbox. This is the great way to reach their customers.
